Food, service and decor were very nice. My wife and I went there specifically to hear some Banda music which was a different experience for this NJ couple. The band was excellent, but I was expecting some 40 mins on/20 mins off sets, but that's not the way it's done apparently. Well go back.

They have a loud side and a quiet side although I have to say the quiet side was a bit loud. The service was friendly. My server said he didn't really speak English but the menu is easy enough to point and he was able to get our order without any issues. Portions were pretty large and there was a good selection of items. I had a number of dishes and really enjoyed the food. Table conversation is a bit tricky and it's best to wait for the band to take a break for any meaningful discussions.

Yes, the music is extremely loud. Yes, the food is kinda of expensive. But what can you expect when you come here for the experience/ ambiance. Where else can you eat mariscos while also listening to live banda. If I had to choose between coming here vs a night club, I would come here any day. The musicians play good if your into corridos, they play oldies (el nino perdido, sinaloense) and new songs (peso pluma, Ariel Camacho). They have at least 10 people in the band, each playing different instruments, meaning that can play a variety of different songs. They play their songs passionately and they do not stop all night. It seems like they are genuinely loving what they do. I loved and recognized every song but one. Javier, guitarist and vocalist, sounded amazing and was able to play any requested song perfectly, old or new. He definitely had the spotlight on him all night. The server was also super nice, always having a big smile on his face even though he was serving a table of over 10. Again yes, the place is expensive but you don't come here for food, you come here for a cheap good time! Also, bring AirPods Pro's and turn on " loud sound reduction", it makes the volume of the music bearable. Don't bring little kids when the bands is here and you'll have a good time if you like this type of thing.
